Acceptable, but some issues need addressing.

The location proved useful.
The stairs were quite steep. Not ideal with luggage. The shared bathroom situation was not clearly indicated. There were four rooms sharing two bathrooms, which led to some inconvenient waits in the morning. the room felt a bit dated.

super stay!

raj gave me a warm welcome and a personal tour, it was so kind. the room was clean and modern, i liked it so much. the location is awesome, the train station and many restaurants were super close.
the stairs were steep and narrow, it was a little hard to carry my luggage up.

the hotel provides complimentary wi-fi throughout the hotel. tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room, a very nice touch. breakfast vouchers for a nearby cafe are available for only £5 (bargain!).

the room included a fridge, really useful for storing drinks and snacks. it was also nicely decorated. the shared bathrooms were clean and well-equipped with all the necessities, i was very impressed.

i expected a hotel but it is more of an old boarding house. the stairs are steep and narrow. it feels dated.
